Battery is an important part of EV which should be rechargeable & must have higher energy storage capacity so that it could provide power to vehicle motor for a longer period. Lithium-ion battery is used in EVs because of higher energy densityor high power to weight ratio.
2.Inverter & Controller
The function of inverter is to convert DC power into AC power which is used by motor. The function of controller is to control the electrical energy, speed & torque of vehicle
3. Motor
The motor moves the vehicle with the help of wheels when it gets power from battery bank.
Generally, brushless DC (BLDC) motor is used in electric vehicles.
4. Charger
It is a device that gets electrical power from external source such as grid power etc. AC power is converted into DC power & stored in the battery bank. Each charger comes with charger port that allows the vehicle to connect with external source of AC power
5. Body of vehicle
Body of an vehicle is depending on the type of vehicle such as 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, buses etc. The function of body is to provide space on the vehicle so that persons could sit /material could be stored in it.
6. Wheels
Wheels are connected with the motor & moves when motor gets power from battery.
